NASPH 2025 CFP

We are inviting submissions for the upcoming NASPH Annual Meeting (Sept. 18-20, 2025), hosted by Texas A&M in Washington, DC. The official CFP flier can also be found here.

Papers on any topic in philosophical hermeneutics are welcome. Please submit your paper of 3000-5000 words, prepared for blind review, by June 1, 2025 to nasphermeneutics@gmail.com.

CFP: 16th Annual Canadian Hermeneutic Institute

The Canadian Hermeneutic Institute invites abstract submissions for presenting at the upcoming Institute, which will be held from June 4-6, 2025 at Aloft Calgary University, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Lectures and papers will center around the topic “Friendship and Other Virtues: Considerations for a Hermeneutical Humanism.” The Visiting Scholar present will be Professor James Risser, Professor Emeritus of Philosophy, Seattle University.

If you would like to present at the Institute, please complete the abstract submission section of the registration form. The deadline for submission of abstracts is March 15, 2025. Presenters will be notified no later than March 31, 2025 as to whether their abstract has been accepted.Successful presenters will be required to present for 20 minutes and answer questions for 20 minutes. PowerPoint will not be available in the meeting room. All presenters will be required to register for the Institute.

There is one 500 CAD student scholarship. Interested philosophy students can apply by emailing Prof. Nancy Moules (njmoules@gmail.com). Scholarship applicants need not be presenting a paper at the conference, but priority will be given to students who are.
